SYKGroup, LLC is a private investment and growth advisory group founded in 2010 by Samuel Y. Kim. SYKGroup, LLC advises and invests in diverse companies and industries including eCommerce based online retail and distribution networks, health and wellness product solutions, and software platforms.
Mr. Kim is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SYK Group, LLC with an extensive experience and expertise in accelerating profitable growth in distribution and online eCommerce based retail platforms.
Prior to founding the SYKGroup, Mr. Kim retired from W.W. Grainger, Inc, a Fortune 300 global distributor of industrial supplies and services, after 25 years where he held the position of Corporate Officer and Vice President, Internet Commerce Business Group.
At W.W. Grainger, Mr. Kim was responsible for the success of Grainger’s multi-billion Internet Commerce business channels. Grainger internet business group was named 15th largest online business in the US by Internet Retailer Publications in 2011.
Mr. Kim received his Masters in Business Administration from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science also from Northwestern University.
